Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, face cloths, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
Perfectly positioned to explore both Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks, you’ll be right on the doorstep of Whakapapa ski field, a 25 minute drive. We’re also a 25 minute drive from all the buzz in Ohakune. We are the ideal base for all outdoor adventures; with shuttle buses running from Waimarino Village to all major attractions.
Our new Mitsubishi heat pump is rated for cold climate use. Producing 9kw of heat it is bigger than what the house needs. Controlled via the Internet you will arrive to a warm house. 24/7 luxury.
Our new spa pool features modern control and components. With ozone water treatment it needs very little chlorine with none of the odour.
Unlimited usage on our WiFi. Scan the QR code on the fridge to join our free WiFi network.
No scraping ice off your windows needed when you use our carport. No tracking in dirt as we have a concrete driveway and foot paths. You can also park two more cars, or a boat, on the driveway.
Freeview gives you all the usual NZ TV channels and some radio stations. Cast your devices to watch anything you have. A radio/CD for local radio, ski FM.
You can charge your bikes while they are securely locked in the shed.
We don’t have a fire so you don’t have to arrive to a freezing cold house, start a fire and get up a 4 AM to stoke it or cart and chop wood. We do have external cameras that can only see half of the spa pool.
