Le Paravis is a small hamlet in the southwest located in the heart of the Garonne valley in the middle of apple orchards of peach trees and kiwis near the land of plums. It sits on the left bank of La Garonne, very close to the confluence of the Lot, between plain and hillsides. Located on the GR 654 (St Jacques de Compostelle), near the greenway of the Canal Latéral in La Garonne, you will appreciate the calm and the beauty of rural landscapes. A few nearby villages are worth a detour for those passionate about history and old stones, Clermont-Dessous which dominates the valley, the bastide town of Vianne sur La Baïse with its farmer's market (producers' meals to be tasted on site, every Friday evening 'summer) and the town of Nérac where you will discover the castle of Henri IV. The Walibi amusement park 25 minutes away will delight young and old. For relaxation, Lake Damazan (10 minutes) offers swimming and water skiing on a permanent route (principle of the ski lift). Wine lovers will enthusiastically discover the Buzet cellar (10 minutes) and its various vintages.
