Located five minutes from Taradale shopping center in a peaceful, quiet setting, this newly built one-bedroom lodge is perfect for your relaxing break. Ideal for couples or small families, it can also be booked together with the next door lodge for larger groups (see link below!).
With open plan kitchenette, dining and lounge that opens onto a small patio for summer BBQs, Kingfisher Lodge is a fully wheelchair accessible year round home-away-from-home with an air-conditioner/heat pump and is double glazed and fully insulated. Featuring parking space for your vehicle or a large campervan if you need a break from the road.
Situated in a picturesque rural area, surrounded by apple orchards, vineyards and deer farms. Views of the rolling hills and local birdlife such as Pukeko, Kingfishers (hence the name Kingfisher Lodge!) and the resident family of quail. You will be close to the Hawkes Bay cycle trail and a safe river for swimming and walking. Also a short drive from many world-class wineries (The Mission and Church Road) and the classic Puketapu Hotel that serves excellent meals.
