A commune of more than 17,000 inhabitants, Mauguio takes place in Occitanie, in the department of Hérault. It is located on the outskirts of Montpellier, on the banks of the Étang de l'Or, on the border of Aigues-Mortes. Its seaside resort, Carnon, offers a beautiful sea front overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
