The community has 24 hour security, and there haven't been any reported crimes or theft in years. Loreto is a quiet fishing town, and one of the safest places in Mexico. It's so safe that you can even drink the tap water, which comes from a well in San Juan. The area has something for everyone- year-round fishing, golfing, pools, spas, hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, cooking, shopping, historical sight-seeing, ATVs, horse back riding, whale watching, and so much more.
