Located on a dead end road, you can enjoy the quiet evenings on the rear porch as you watch the sunset. Paved walking trail from back porch down to the waterway and then for miles from there. Inside, there are 2 living areas with plenty of space to spread out. Upstairs has a deck that is perfect for sunbathing, morning yoga or just relaxing with a good book. Less than 10 minutes and you are in downtown Grass Valley with tons of local shops, bars, and restaurants to fit everyone's interests. Neveda City is just 15 minutes away, Boreal is 45 minutes up the hill, Tahoe City another 30 minutes past that. Historic Empire Mine Park is just 5 minutes away and Nevada County Fairgrounds, with many annual events, is 10 minutes. Lots hiking and biking trails throughout the area. Plenty of grocery stores nearby for anything you might need during your stay. We are just below the snow line but do get an occasional storm that drops a few inches of snow in town per year.
