Ensuring a cruisy summer set up, the sundeck is equipped with the must-have BBQ, an outdoor table and chairs for alfresco dining, and sun loungers for a good place to catch some rays with a good book. The spacious section even offers a swing chair under the shade of the trees and a caged trampoline for the kids!

The beach also has a safe stream for children to swim and play and rock pools at low tide. Whale Bay and Woolleys Bay are also both within a 10-minute drive.
Matapouri is nearby via a 10-minute drive and has a dairy that does takeaways, a tennis court and a playground, while Ngunguru has a sports complex, great fish and chips and a cafe! Beautiful Tutukaka village is a 15-minute drive with it shops, restaurants and boat ramp. This area is the gateway to the world-famous Poor Knights, charter boats, deep-sea fishing and diving, and home to the famous Snapper Rock Cafe.
