Summary: The overall stay and interactions with staff was great. Better than most. Which says a lot, nowadays especially. That being said, the only thing I can think of to potentially improve or change was an issue with my proof of identification. Apparently there is an issue locally het ein Asheville, NC where if you have a local ID with a local address. You are denied the room based on this. Even if you use an app to book the room. I ran into this situation when I showed my ID to check-in. I was in from Charlotte (which I now live) to play a show I was booked for When I showed them my ID. They explained they COULDN'T give me the room or access to it. I had to use my travel partners ID from Charlotte to get the room. Thankfully the issue was resolved. Still didn't sit well with me.
