There is a walk path near the house towards city council and library. 5 minutes walk to the most popular Mair Park that is a place for family to enjoy.
Whangarei district has quite a lot of nice scenic spots, such as Town Basin Marina and HATEA Loop, Whangarei Falls, Mair Park, Whangarei Quarry Garden, Whangarei Art Museum and Kiwi North Museum, City Library and so on.
