The Area:
Mangawhai is a town in Northland, New Zealand. Located 1h 20min north from Auckland and 2 hours south of the Bay of Islands.
Mangawhai offers several different beach experiences, from the patrolled Mangawhai Heads surf beach to the calmer estuary. And within 15 minutes, you can drive to Te Arai beach and Langs beach.
Nestled on the Pacific coast, Mangawhai village and Mangawhai Heads are linked by a picturesque pedestrian and cycle-friendly causeway, surrounded by native wetlands and bush.
On the far side of the harbour is a large sand dune area home to fairy terns, Caspian terns, variable oystercatchers and New Zealand dotterels.
Mangawhai offers a range of activities including water-sports, a world-class 18-hole championship golf course, wineries, Bennett's Chocolate factory, and a great little museum that tells the amazing history of the region.

*NOTE – There is a separate tenanted dwelling within 20m of the House, but with plenty of separation and room for you to holiday in privacy.
