Nestled within the jewel of Northland's west coast and recently refreshed, this Little Blue Beauty boasts remarkable harbour views across to the ever-changing sand dunes.
The bach has three large bedrooms, including two with harbour views, and can host up to nine guests.
Bed configuration is a queen in the master bedroom, a double and a single in the second room and double bunk with king single above and separate single, in the third room. Although the house sleeps nine, this house suits two to three couples and children.
Open plan layout leads out to the deck for alfresco dining and in the evenings, you can enjoy the glorious sunset. A huge back lawn invites backyard cricket, Kubb or other outdoor activities for friends and family to enjoy. A five minute stroll takes you straight to the ocean to breathe in that salty air or continue a further 4 minutes to reach the local Four Square, Opononi Hotel (pub and restaurant), cafe, fish and chips, information centre and wharf. All overlooking the harbour.
With this amazing view you can choose to sit-back, unwind, relax and read a book or you can explore amazing coastal and bush walks, cycle tracks or catch the local water taxi and ride the Hoikianga sand dunes. The largest Kauri tree in the world, Tane Mahuta is only a 15-minute drive and is very impressive! Or you can head the other way to Rawene, catch the vehicle ferry to Kohukohu and explore what the far north really has to offer. The fabulous Kerikeri weekend markets are only an hour away and definitely worth the drive.
Great harbour fishing and for the adventurous fishermen, head out over the bar for some of New Zealand's best game fishing.
All linen is supplied including towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

Strictly no smoking. Sorry, no pets allowed. No large groups, tents or parties, we value and respect our neighbours. Please clean BBQ after use. Please take rubbish and recycling to refuse station behind bowling club on Baker Road when you leave - the cost is $3 per bag cash only.
For guest access we use a lock-box - the access code will be sent to you prior to arrival.
