Positive: Apartment was comfortable, a good size and with plenty storage. Finish and inventory was of high quality, and of course it is all new. Also the apartment and the complex were exceptionally clean and tidy.

Negative: The apartment was ideally sized and stocked for a family of 4 however the photo of the swimming pool (the key photo that comes up in the booking.com search) is very misleading since the pool is not actually accessible to children. Yet the property is clearly marketed towards families. It is is deep down in the description that the pool is adults only but certainly not what I was expecting when I booked - I suggest that the picture of the swimming pool comes with a very clear banner across it that it is adults only. It is also charged out at 10euro/p/hr. We would not have booked this apartment had we known about the pool restrictions. There were also key items missing that you might expect in a holiday apartment such as an airer rack for drying clothes, fans (there was no A/C so a fan would be useful), an oven instead of a microwave, a dish washer, facilities to wash clothes (like a shared room with a washer and dryer), and maybe a mini shop near the reception which sells a few basic things like toilet roll, coffee etc. We stayed 1 week and these things would have been appreciated. And what is it with all the charges.... the parking 8eur/day (why not just include parking in the cost of the stay), deposit needed for a hairdryer, deposit needed to borrow an iron, pay to get new towels etc etc. And 18eur for breakfast was quite excessive. In all I have mixed feelings - while it was a clean and pleasant apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, it is basically a retirement home complex where extra, unrented rooms are charged out to tourists. That in itself is OK but it could have been more welcoming to tourists and in all honesty the staff were not very friendly or helpful and their level of English was pretty poor. I feel that there are better options available in this price class. Wifi was also not great and we never managed to get the EV charging working (which required a specific French EV network card).

Summary: Decent apartment but no pool access for children and lots of additional changes
