You can take a walk or a ride on the walkways and tracks around the village, head to Rings Beach, ride or walk the 8km track or walk along the Matarangi Beach and Spit track. Matarangi has a beautiful 18-hole golf course with club rooms and a restaurant. Every Saturday there is a village market so take a wander through and buy some local produce and chat with the locals. The market is located near the 4 Square Supermarket.
