Waihi is famous for Gold Mining, so why not head to the Waihi Discovery Centre for some insight into the gold era, or have a nosy at the Waihi Arts Centre & Museum?

The 2 other ramps that are available are sandy and can be quite soft, so smaller vessels are best launched from here i.e. jet skis.
