We are located in the beautiful King Country on a loop road off the iconic Forgotten World Highway. The accommodation is on a working farm and is surrounded by a mixture of native bush and farmland.
We are surrounded by fantastic rustic roads which would suit mountain biking or walking, parts of the farm will also be available to explore. Mountain Biking daytrips are very accessible, the fabulous Timber Trail is a 45 minute drive away and the 42 Traverse.
We have Forgotten World Adventures in the heart of Taumarunui offering trips by Golf Cart on the railways, a must do to explore some incredible scenery.
We are a 15 minute drive from the Wanganui River with Fly Fishing as well as Kayaking and Canoe hire available in town to experience the region by water!
The house is family friendly and is suitable for children with a host of children's toys, games, sandpit, swing etc The section is very large and moderately secure for younger children however because of the size of the property young children would still need careful supervision - please feel free to ask further questions around this.
