This is a classical 1909 built 6-bedroom 2-storey villa showcasing rarely found finer details of vintage elegance blended with all the comforts of a modern home - and much more. The house overlooks the beautiful Waikato River, surrounded by trees, orchards, and terrace gardens, you will certainly feel a world away in your own oasis within walking distance to the central city.
Within 10-20 min walking distance you will find the Sky City, FMG stadium, Centre Place mall and inner city boutique shops, cinemas and art galleries, cafes and restaurants along Victoria streets and the nightlife in the Hood Street. Waikato River trail access is just down the road - great for a run/walk or cycling. Supermarkets are nearby within 2min driving distance.
The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 king, 1 queen, and two single beds) and 3 bedrooms downstairs (2 queen beds and 1 double). The master bedroom upstairs has an attached nursery (1 single / toddler bed), wall-mounted TV, and direct access to the master bathroom. The second bathroom upstairs has a bathtub and downstairs has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Heating is on throughout the entire house including heat pumps in each bedroom, living, dining, kitchen, and hallways, and gas heating in outdoor living spaces - this will keep you cosy during the winter months.
The kitchen is spacious and equipped with a modern 8-burner gas stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the essentials. It is socially positioned to flow into the dining room or the sheltered outdoor fireplace / BBQ area.
