Revel in the beautiful sunrises, sunsets and clear starlit night skies from the front lawn or venture out to explore the blowhole at Jacks Bay at high tide, the many local waterfalls, and the famous Nuggets Lighthouse. The Information centre in nearby Owaka township is an excellent resource centre with in depth local area knowledge to guide you in selecting the best experiences available to enrich your stay. For the truly enthusiastic fisherman the estuary abounds with Flounder and Sole which can be speared on clear still nights.
