We are at the northern, marina end of the city in a secure, gated community with full time security guards on duty. There is a gracious pool and club house area with outdoor showers, airy, shaded palapas, sunbathing areas, a gym, jogging track, children's playground, BBQs and a basketball court.This attractive, 2 story townhouse of 1200 sq. ft is furnished and decorated with pieces from local artists and craftsmen, giving a fresh, airy, Mexican-tropical feel. The main floor has one bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen/dining room/living room area. There are two bedrooms upstairs; the master bedroom opens onto an intimate balcony overlooking the garden courtyard, the other room has two single beds. All bedrooms have bedside tables and lamps and roomy wardrobes. The main area upstairs is a spacious family room, with a corner desk, TV, DVD player, and the second bathroom.From the kitchen, a window and glass door look into the garden/courtyard with its attractive, tiled outside kitchen, a large table and parasol, and banana trees gently swaying in the breeze. The laundry room/shed forms the back of this outdoor living space. Here it is sunny in the morning, shaded in the afternoon.When you prefer the beauty of the ocean, a five minute walk from Villa Marina across the road brings you to the long, wide, pristine sandy beach playground reaching for kilometers in both directions. Here you can swim, walk, run, parasail, surf, or ride a horse, ending up at one of the restaurants dotting the beach, for a sun-downer.
