"Breakview" is a colourful and comfortable two-bedroom bach at Ahipara over-looking Shipwreck Bay. Enjoy the glorious views while barbequing on the front deck and unwind in the spa pool after a day at the beach. Plenty of safe space for the kids on the full-width front deck, in and around the spa-pool, and around the trees and garden. Other amenities include wi-fi, blue-tooth stereo, full laundry facilities, dishwasher, micro-wave, ceramic cooktop, oven, and espresso coffee machine - the bach is fully equipped for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
There are two outdoor dining/deck areas, one overlooking the Bay (including loungers, barbeque and dining table), and the other adjacent to the spa pool. "Breakview" is a 10 minute walk from the beach - enjoy long walks on the expanse of Ninety-Mile beach or swim and explore the rock pools with the children. An outdoor shower is in place for rinsing down after a day at the beach. We have parking and turn-around for up to three cars, but the access is not suitable for boat-trailers or caravans.
Shippies is a five minute drive away, over the hill and down to the sand. From there, you can drive around the reef to Peaks, Mukies and the breaks beyond. Check Pines and Blue House from the front deck of the bach before you go - we built "Breakview" for the surf!
House Set-Up:
Bedroom 1 - Queen bed, luggage store, towel rail. Large sliding door opening onto front deck and views of the village and beach.
Bedroom 2 - Queen bed, single bunk above. Luggage store, towel rail. A single mattress is also available to be pulled out so the room can comfortably sleep a family of four.
Bathroom - shower over bath, wash basin (continuous gas califont hot-water).
Toilet - separate.
Kitchen - fully supplied with all crockery, cutlery and utensils on open, accessible shelves. Tile and wood work spaces, bar bench and stools. Espresso machine, micro-wave, ceramic cooktop, oven. Pantry with some food items - feel free to use and replace.
Dining/Lounge - Six-seat dining table, two-seater couch + chair, Smart-TV with Netflix, wood-burner with firewood available, free wi-fi, blue-tooth sound system.
Front-deck - runs the full width of the bach. Includes gas barbeque, six-seat dining table, outdoor lounge chair, two reclining loungers, shade-sail, cushion box.
Outdoor Spa Area - spa-pool (4 persons), 4-seat dining table, portable box stools. Area suitable for yoga or sunbathing.
